iFit Outside App Reviews

Bugs

Fairly often it crashes after a workout and you loose the workout data. I close all my apps before workouts, still say one out of five it crashes while closing workout. Also, after almost year of use Ive realized it uses a lot more battery than iBiker (like twice as much, weird).

Great App

Great app. Sync to web is not the greatest but overall does a great job.

Not too great

This app often logs my outside workouts twice and then wont let me delete the duplicate. It also does not accurately calculate my vertical feet. I am also not impressed with the customer services knowledge of how to use the app. I had a problem and ended up solving it myself.

Eh

The app ALWAYS crashes if you go over 4hrs. Its ok for short times (Ive never had a prob with 1hour or less).

So far so good

Like that I can walk my dogs and record my walk to my iFit!

Humm… the food/calorie area… Ehh!!

- The weight area almost NEVER holds what you enter. If it does only for a few days & then it allllll goes blank again. -If this is fixed then def FIVE stars!!!!! ~ I like the iFit, iFit App all that BUT how come in the calorie counter the options are ALL freaking FAST FOOD, McDonalds, Burger King, KFC, Popeyes….. on & on! I put in Chicken & all I got was fast food or stuff with gravy blah blah…. Tried Grilled Chicken & got McDs, Burger King or OTHER for 500 calls. Strange! I made myself grilled chicken with fresh garlic, Roasted garlic, spinach, baby portabellas, broccoli, red onion, long hot peppers (I grew) There is nothing even CLOSE to that good meal. ~ They def need to REALLY update the food/calorie portion of the App & add it online. Other then that I LOVE my treadmill & the online/App for the iPhone :o)

Support for iOS8 Health Kit

Plz integrate Health Kit so the workout info gets reflected on the iOS8 Health app

Constant crash, can you guys get this to work properly?

This app doesnt sync well with your machine or the iFit website. This app lists workouts on the wrong days among other inconsistencies. It shows double workouts.

Great App

Love this app although I often have problems getting it to load

Workout upload not working

I use an iPhone 6 Plus and use this to track my outdoor cycling workouts. Even when I return home to WiFi it never uploads my workouts. I want this to upload my cycling workouts to the ifit website. Please help. I pay for an annual ifit subscription.

Awesome app

Love this app for running. Works great, time, distance, avg pace. The current pace is not very accurate but thats my only complaint. Love that every run is available online to see my progress.

Great app

Works great, syncs with ifit no problem. Works as described

Terrible app

This app is never correct. Times, distance, incline, etc always change from day to day. I can watch the numbers literally change constantly while looking at history of workouts. Zero stars from me

Too Proprietary

This app when it works is pretty much ok. However the biggest problem that I have with it is that it doesnt sync with anything else. I have a Jabra UP band and iOS 8. It doesnt work with either one. They need to do something about this or else Im not renewing. I dont really care about posting on Facebook or Twitter. Fix it!

Perfect

Works just as I hoped. I cant run without knowing all my stays anymore

Buggy cruddy app

If it worked, it would be OK. However half the time it erases what you did. I have had to delete the app and re-enter the userid & password to resynch over 8 times now. Cant log any stats. It will show correctly at first then state you went 0 miles instead of the true distance. Often changes the distance to .01.

Ifit Outside

Great app for your outside run or walks. I have had some probs that it didnt start.

Good Ideas - Poor Execution (very buggy)

Ive been trying to use this app now for 3 months, with limited success. For shorter bicycling trips it works pretty well. For long hikes (more than 4 hours), it usually crashes somewhere along the route. After a successful complettion, I usually see no log in the history folder. However, duplicate logs of the trip appear on my iFit webpage. Elevation is calculated incorrectly. I live at 5,000 feet but a 12 mile bicycle trip around town with a modest 100-200 feet elevation gain gets reported as 5,211 feet gain on my iFit web page. Go figure. Also, mileage reported from the app is not always the same and what you see later on. And as someone else reported, it can mysteriously change after a few days. For the most part, Im happy with the iFit web based app. But iFit Outside IOS is not of any use to me, as it totally distorts my tracking statistics. I have attempted to correct some of these issues through iFit Support, but unfortunately they are not very responsive.

The worst app I have ever come across

This app just doesnt work, Im pretty certain a 1st grader could do a better job. For a subscription we pay a lot of money for that is as unreliable as it is I think its time for a class action lawsuit.

Helpful

So far this app works great! Is helping with my weight loss goals...
